What's the lowest you've seen in your area?

Filled up for: $1.93
Seen it as low as: $1.91

Supposedly it's down to $1.80 north of Atlanta in Kennesaw.

- rteynor - 11-29-2005 08:59 PM

It was down to 1.95 last week, but today it jumped back to 2.05-2.10

Isn't it sad when we're talking about $2/gallon gas being "low"?

- SouthGAEagle - 11-29-2005 09:23 PM

$1.789 here in Macon.

- BLAKESGIRL - 11-29-2005 10:54 PM

$1.95 in Dalghren but honestly $2.05 in So.MD

- Laettners Legacy - 11-29-2005 11:03 PM

$2.14

Durham is the highest in the state...by far. and unless it has changed in the last couple of months, NC is the 3rd highest in the country (behind Hawaii and Alaska)

- Rebel - 11-29-2005 11:18 PM

1.57 a gallon, Sprint Food Store and Circle K across the street on Bel-Air Road in Martinez(Augusta).

- Terpy - 11-29-2005 11:20 PM

Um I think its still mostly over 2 bucks here, my mom paid like 1.97 about an hour from where I live. It is weird to say that 2 bucks, or just under is reasonable though.

- PurplePeopleEater - 11-29-2005 11:32 PM

Lowest I've seen is $2.05 in Kinston, NC. It's around $2.10 here in Greenville.

- Laettners Legacy - 11-29-2005 11:33 PM

$2.19 in Portland, Oregon

- niusfactuary - 11-30-2005 12:00 AM

$1.99 in Bloomington, IL

Damn, it was 1.91 everywhere I saw today.

- Cajunman02 - 11-30-2005 01:11 AM

Seen $1.95 around Lafayette.

Not sure if everyone knows, but there are websites for each state that have updated gas prices.

for me I use http://www.louisianagasprices.com change the state to yours and it should work.

- moloch_322 - 11-30-2005 08:36 AM

$2.59... No big change.

Most places its about 1.85, but there is a price war going on between Sprint and Circle K on Bel-Air Road right near the interstate.

- Lucy - 11-30-2005 11:28 PM

$1.87 in South Cobb County...but with my Kroger Plus card, I can get a 10 cent per gallon discount on Kroger gas, so I filled up at $1.79 a couple nights ago.

- Lush - 12-01-2005 04:49 AM

$2.09 here in Cincy. 'Twas around $1.90, but not anymore. :bang:

- Rebel - 12-01-2005 08:22 AM

It's back up, GDawgs. It must have been a price war, but it lasted for about 3 days.

- ShoreBuc - 12-01-2005 11:19 AM

Here on St. Thomas we are still getting porked :bang: Lowest I have seen is $2.96 for regular and I am still paying $3.10 for Supreme.
The sad part is we have one of the worlds largest refineries on St.Croix which is only 15 miles from us. The refinery is owned by an American firm and Venezuela. The Venezuelan govt provides us with cheaper oil then the U.S. gets but somehow we have been paying over $3.00 since the beginning of the 05 Hurricane Season.
Venezuela has actually cut deals with most of the Caribbean islands to provide them with oil at a set price of $40 per barrell. The U.S.V.I. are not eligible for this deal since we are a U.S. territory and Chavez is not exactly a big fan of us.

I guess we should not *****. I am going to Europe this summer on vacation and renting a car to drive through Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Their avg prices for gas, are over $5.00 per gallon

- calling_the_hogs - 12-01-2005 01:28 PM

Got a quick couple of gallons in town today for $1.989 in Fayetteville (not too great) but filled up in Tahlequah, OK (about an hour west of here) at $1.799.

Just some factoids that I've collected here.

Today - Arkansas $1.985 , USA $2.119
One Week Ago - Arkansas $2.039, USA $2.146
One Month Ago - Arkansas $2.308, USA $2.422
One Year Ago - Arkansas $1.831, USA $1.924

- SouthGAEagle - 12-01-2005 02:33 PM

2 stations in Macon are down to 1.769 as of yesterday.

Also, I can do the same Kroger deal as Lucy (10ยข/gallon off for $100 in groceries) and get gas for $1.729
