2.5 Mil....that's not really losing. If so, I wanna lose. That guy was unbelievable. Hell, maybe he tried to lose. Maybe he was tired of it. What was it, 72 weeks?

- Guest - 11-30-2004 11:34 PM

I think it was 72 straight games.

Fine, games. Must you always be this combative? At least I limit my combative attitude to politics. ...and I still can't stand liberals.

Did he really try to lose?

I hope that he lost like a warrior......rather than bowing out or leaving with the loot.......

I don't think he tried to lose, but Jeopardy actually came up with some questions he didn't know too well. In fact, neither did the other two. The one guy didn't even make it to final jeopardy and the woman was behind Jennings going into final Jeopardy. She got the question....I mean answer....right and Jennings got it wrong. She won with $14001 which is not really that many considering she had about 8K going into Final Jeopardy.

It was bound to happen eventually. Jennings couldn't possibly know everything and it just so happened that the categories came together on this episode to do him in.

Not sure of the exact wording, but I heard the final question was something like,
"The employees of what company/business only work 4 months a year?"

He said Fed -ex....the answer was H&R Block

- Lucy - 12-01-2004 01:25 PM

"The 70,000 seasonal white collar employees of this company work 4 months a year."

The words "white collar" would definitely eliminate FedEx drivers...

I think it's great Jennings won all that $$. Honestly though I got tired of him real fast-he was just there tooooo long. Glad to see that others will get a chance now.

Holy crap, I wasn't even attacking you. You asked a freakin question and I answered it.

"What was it, 72 weeks?"

That is what you said. Chill out.
