He was 13 years old. probaly had no idea some dumb*** was speedy down the road. it happened while I was at the Duke game yesterday. didnt see him till today when I was pulling off to go to church. today has been depressing

LL.. I'm really sorry about your dog. People that have never had dogs don't realize the bond that their owners have with them. It truly is like the loss of a member of the family. I'm sorry LL. I have a hard time when I lose a pet even though it hasn't happened to me in quite awhile. I've had my cat for about 12 years now. I was five or six when I got him so we have grown up together. Pets are truly like family members and I'm sorry that you lost one. I'm sending out a hug for ya!

Just this side of Heaven, is a place called Rainbow Bridge...
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
