Okay folks.. this is a Fundraiser Challenge for the NCAAbbs!! I will first explain the Pool and how it works. I will then explain how to join. I am also asking all of you to post a link to this on your team's forum! EDITED TO ADD: This Pool is very easy! It is the perfect pool for Pool Newbies. PLEASE post of PM any questions you have!

Suicide Pool Rules

* This is an NFL Pool.
* The Pool will officially begin on Saturday, August 31.
* The first NFL game weekend begins Thursday, September 5.
* A game weekend will always include any Thursday games, Sunday and the Monday night game following.
* Each week, you will have until midnight on Saturday (or Wednesday on weeks with Thursday games) to get your pick into me.
* Every week, you will choose ONE NFL team to win that week.
* If the team you choose wins, you will advance to the next week.
* If your team loses, you are dead. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
* THE CATCH: you can only choose each team ONE TIME.
* There will be a thread in the Games Forum at the start of every week with the upcoming weekend's game and the due date for picks.
* There will be a second thread in the Games Forum that will list everyone's picks, once they are all received.
* There will be a third thread in the Games Forum that will contain the ongoing standings.
* If you miss a week for any reason, you are dead.
* Winner takes all!!

How to Enter

* The fee is $10.
* $5 will automatically be donated to NCAAbbs! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />
* $5 will go towards the pot.
* You may PayPal your entrance fee, or snail mail it, but it must be received no later than Friday, August 30.
* For snail mail instructions, please PM or e-mail rickheel.
* Your weekly picks should be sent to ME and can be sent via PM or e-mail, but they are NOT to be posted.

We need to know who is planning to participate. Please post if you are IN! Also, feel free to post any questions you may have.

If we choose to PayPal our entrance fee, how will you know that our contribution is our entrance fee and not a normal donation to NCAAbbs?

rickheel is head of finances - and he can track that easily. Just be sure to tell him before you send in the money - and to include the name / e-mail the transfer will show up as.

Good Point, GTS... rickheel only gets an e-mail address with the paypal. So, let him know who you are!!!

And Lucy.. the donations haven't been flowing in.. I think any $10 he gets at this point is for the challenge.

PLEASE! If you intend to play, and are going though PayPal, send me an email with your name and board name indicating you are playing. I have no way to differentiate between a donation and paying for inclusion in the game. Thanks.
