US had warning of Glasgow attack? - WoodlandsOwl - 07-01-2007 09:18 PM

Wonderful news all over...

"U.S. law enforcement officials received intelligence reports two weeks ago warning of a possible terror attack in Glasgow against "airport infrastructure or aircraft," a senior US law enforcement official tells the Blotter on ABCNews.com.

The intelligence reports also warned that airports and aircraft in the Czech Republic could be the targets of al Qaeda-connected terrorists.

The warnings were kept secret for operational reasons, according to officials."

And this really gets your attention....[/b]

"A secret U.S. law enforcement report, prepared for the Department of Homeland Security, warns that al Qaeda is planning a terror "spectacular" this summer, according to a senior official with access to the document.

"This is reminiscent of the warnings and intelligence we were getting in the summer of 2001," the official told ABCNews.com.

U.S. officials have kept the information secret, and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said today on ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" that the United States did not have "have any specific credible evidence that there's an attack focused on the United States at this point."

I wonder if any of this has anything to do with the "300 suicide bombers" that graduated from a camp in Pakistan last month? Maybe this information was leaked to spook some cells into the open or into abandoning their plans? Add to the mix last week's FBI warning to scuba diving schools.....

I think they have all sorts of attacks planned, they've tried alot in the US since 9/11, from blowing up the Brooklyn Bridge to the latest bust at JFK.....I think this latest attack in Britain is partly due to the Rushdie affair, would do the jihadist wonders politically with their people who were enraged at the Rushdie knighthood.

yet many americans still remain with their heads burried deeply in the sand. Looking up the latest news on Paris Hilton from their brand new Iphone they waited in line for days for.
