I think, after seeing teams in the ACC take it up the pooper on bowl selection time and again, that I don't give an eff if playoffs eliminate bowls.

Clemson going to the Gator Bowl. WTF?!
Screw you FSU. Screw you Maryland. Screw you Wake. Screw you (VT or BC). The Gator passed you all over for Clemson.

The ACC CG loser will likely plummet all the way to the Champs Sports Bowl. If GT didn't land in the Peach Bowl, they would have plummeted at least as far as the Champs Sports Bowl, possibly all the way to the Music City or Tire Bowl.

It's not like this is new. The ACC LOVESSSSSSS to f*ck over teams in bowls. They shipped Boston College all the way out to Boise, ID for losing the ACC CG (dropping 4 bowls). They shipped GT out to the Emerald Bowl a few years ago (dropping 3 bowls). And now with the Gator choosing Clemson ... somebody is guaranteed to plummet at least 3 bowls again this year. Eat a d*ck John Swofford.

Bowl games should be forced to pick in order of finish in their conferences.

Don't bowls choose their own invitees? UGA or Ole Miss could wind up in either the Cotton or the Cap One, but the Cap One guys will, more than likely, choose UGA. The SEC has nothing to do with it.

The conferences set the picking order rules. The ACC has a clause specifically allowing bowls to jump x number of wins-losses. They only prevent the ACC-CG loser from dropping no further than the Music City Bowl. And if BC loses ... they could very well drop that far. Without that clause, they'd probably plummet all the way to Boise.

The Big 10 is totally based on where you finish in the league. Big East is mostly based on the bowl's pick, but record does sometimes come in to play.

Man, that's a funny name to call millions of dollars. I don't think I'd consider millions of dollars "stupid". You guys are going to one. 05-stirthepot
