How come no one bashed those conferences? Here is a post from the UCONN board.

Here are the conferences sending 8-3 or worse teams to the Bowl Coalition, Bowl Alliance and BCS Bowls since the inception in 1992 without anyone calling them names,

1. Big Twelve: 6 Teams
1993 Oklahoma 8-3
1993 Texas Tech 6-5
1994 Texas Tech 6-5
1994 Texas 7-4
1996 Texas 8-4
2003 KSU 11-3

2. Big East: 4 Teams
1994 Virginia Tech 8-3
1997 Syracuse 9-3
1998 Syracuse 8-3
2004 Pittsburgh 8-3

3. Sec: 3 Teams
1993 Alabama 8-3-1
1994 Tennessee 7-4
2001 LSU 9-3

Acc: 2 Teams
1994 North Carolina 8-3
2002 Florida State 9-4

Pac-Ten 2 Teams
1994 USC 7-3-1
1999 Stanford 8-3

Big Ten: 1 Team
2000 Purdue 8-3

BCS Independents: 1 Teams
1994 Notre Dame 6-4-1

Why is the Big East being targeted when it was the only BCS Conferences to lose two of their best teams. How can the Acc be so great if 2 of the former Big East teams are the best Acc teams today? If the Big Ten loses Michigan or Iowa, Sec loses Georgia or Tennessee, or Big Twelve loses Oklahoma or Texas, Pac-Ten loses USC and California how long would one expect them to recover?

Yet, only the Big East is being judged today as other conferences were never judged yesterday. Only the Big East is expected to field 2 Top teams out of 7 schools while it is in transition. Only the Big East is judged weak when its bottom feeder Temple beats Syracuse who barely lost to FSU. Big Twelve’s Baylor beating A&M, Acc’s Duke upsetting Clemson, Sec’s Missy State thrashing Florida, Big Ten’s Indiana whipping Oregon and Minnesota and Pac-Ten’s Arizona beating Arizona State are forgotten.

The Big East is in transition and maybe a tad behind the other BCS Conferences due to the changes. Except no different than those other BCS conferences that came before them with similar records and results in previous years without the losses of good teams.

The Big East is better than any Non-BCS Conference too in Polls, Bowls and Teams with winning records. If you add Louisville and Cincinnati, which is just as fair as taking Boston College and Temple out, the Big East is and will be a good BCS Conference with 1 to 2 leaders and 1 to 2 bottom feeders just like the other BCS Conferences for years to come.

Only the dumbest sport media experts cannot understand these records, results and evaluations using something far more than farting far above their A-Holes and telling us it is their well-informed opinion.

Now you know the rest of the story!
