Conference USA finalizes 2013 football home-and-away schedule
Wednesday, January 23, 2013
The 14-team Conference USA will have a new divisional look in 2013.
The West division: Rice, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech, UTEP, Tulane, North Texas and UTSA.
The East division: East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, Southern Miss and UAB.
Rice’s conference football schedule will include home games against UTEP, Tulane, Louisiana Tech and Florida Atlantic. The road games will be against Tulsa, UAB, UTSA and North Texas.
Here is the complete schedules for C-USA teams:
EAST CAROLINA
HOME – FAU, Southern Miss, Tulsa, UAB
AWAY – at FIU, at Marshall, at Middle Tennessee, at Tulane

I for one am thrilled with MT's schedule. We face our 3 other former Sun Belt members (two on the road), and get Marshall and ECU at home. UTEP at home is just icing on the cake.
Missing Tulsa and LA Tech only boosts our chances at a run for the division title.
Can't wait to host you guys this fall.

For some reason, USM has 0 current C-USA schools on the home schedule and defectors Tulane and ECU have 3... something ain't right about that.

excuse me but I did notice you have a little game on your schedule against a team that is going to have a big chip on it's shoulder in Southern Miss. I guarantee you we will be looking at your team as a big game and if I were you I would keep an eye on Golden Eagles.

Really looking forward to LaTech and Rice coming to SA. Hopefully we can get a little payback from this past season.

Of the new teams to come into the conference the 2 that I was thrilled to pick up was La. Tech, who USM has played often since 1923, and MTSU because of it's outstanding athletic accomplishment. I look forward to playing these 2, and while not underestimating the others, but these two are teams we have seen before.

Im not a fan of playing Tulsa again. Dont get me wrong as I enjoy playing top teams, but we just finished a 2 year run.
