I find it so humorous that Rice and Tulane "averaged" that many fans...

RE: 2012 College football regular-season attendance. - AndreWhere - 01-23-2013 03:03 PM

Our fans deserve a lot of credit. 25 ,000 plus for an 0-12 team says something.

I'm thinking our attendance figures are conservative, too. The attendance was supposedly 32,000 and change for the ECU game. I've been at several games where we had a higher attendance reported, but I have never had to park miles up US49 for a game before that ECU game.

talks to us about "credit" nobody with the history as bad as UTEP football is anywhere near 29k... 03-banghead

We have got to win some games.

Started the season with hope, a new coach, and in-state rival Troy - 28K. Ended the season getting throttled by Memphis in front of 9,219.

Surprised ours was even that high.

BeliefBlazer, I've never seen more than 400 people for a UAB game at legion, I'd like to see pictures from this 28k game...

You have made tremendous strides in the last 25 years. I've been very impressed.

Exactly how many UAB games have you been to?

Here is right at kickoff. A few more came in before it started to rain. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/488232_10100170796245202_1170671677_n.jpg

I was at the Ruben Studdard game and it was pretty packed.

RE: 2012 College football regular-season attendance. - 77Herd11 - 01-23-2013 09:42 PM

UTSA's attendance was not attached to CUSA numbers and therefore is not reflected in the average. What was your guys average home attendance this year?

RE: 2012 College football regular-season attendance. - 77Herd11 - 01-23-2013 09:43 PM

All other schools were attached to future conferences

RE: 2012 College football regular-season attendance. - BeliefBlazer - 01-23-2013 09:45 PM

UTSA was 29,226
