The soccer thread is dead! Long live the soccer thread!

So, Sir Alex is retiring. Moyes replaces him.

tough job for moyes...i don't see how he can succeed...and i wouldn't totally mind if he didn't! not a man u fan at all...but i think that moyes will know how to use the talent he has...he just may not win as much silverware soon enough for the red devils to keep him long....i wouldn't be shocked to see him gone in 3-5 years...

and let's go sea gulls...palace can suck it!

as for swansea, i hope they finish strong but they don't have anything, other than position, to play for the final weeks...and there's not much they can do in that aspect...

GTS killed my thread?

That's it....I'm taking some time away from this place to show my disdain for these types of ruthless totalitarian tactics.

RE: OT: The New New Soccer Thread - GrayBeard - 05-10-2013 02:29 PM

OK, I think they got the idea. Don't make me do it again!

It obv didn't help

"Guest access is completely disabled until further notice. Completely disabling it seems to make a dramatic enough difference to allow us to be comfortably up until we implement new hardware upgrades. If you want to read the site, login or register (expect approval delays due to high volume). Sorry for the inconvenience."

This is the third soccer thread is a year for CUSAbbs -_-

Congrats to Wigan on the FA Cup. Now, for the love of god, go and beat Arsenal to give my Spurs a shot at a Champions Leagues spot!

So does this mean he can't bring up my killing the 2nd soccer thread? I mean I did it for the good of the board.

BTW, the true soccer thread is on the AAC board now.

Becoming a Wigan supporter earlier this week didn't help. So now I'm Newcastle/Spurs supporter this weekend.

Watch Newcastle beat Arsenal and Spurs lose to Sunderland.

Sorry, years of being a Rice Owls and Cleveland Browns fan have taught me to expect the worst...

Quote:1. FORLAN HEADING TO MLS?

It's been awhile since we've heard this one, but this twist is new. According to reports in South America this morning, former Manchester United, Atlético Madrid and Villarreal striker Diego Forlán could be heading to Major League Soccer. The 33-year-old Uruguayan forward is apparently seeking a switch to MLS, with Independiente in Argentina also interested in signing the player of the tournament from the 2010 World Cup. “I like the MLS a lot,” Forlan said. “I have gone there on holiday a lot. I would love to go.”
