I get a message that says - You must post 85 characters or less
When I try and reply to a post.

It let me post the reply when I took out the post subject. Any idea why that would happen?

The title of your post can only be 85 characters long. On replies, the software automatically inserts "RE: " into the title. If the title is 82 characters or more to start with, the extra 4 characters inserted for your reply make it too long, so you get an error. Edit the title, by either removing the inserted characters, or by shortening the title, and you can post with no problemo.
