The son of a crabber and "Onion Knight" sitting on the Iron Throne and being "King of the Ashes" would be quite fitting

Few thoughts.

1) Is Jaime going north by himself or will be take some of the Lannister army? Will Bronn go with him?

2) Arya is such a bad-a**.

3) Bran, it would be helpful to lay off the angst ridden aloof act and actually use your "powers' to help. For someone who supposedly knows/sees all, how did you manage to miss the Night King riding a freeking zombie dragon and destroying the wall? Also, when talking about Jon's true heritage, did you notice him banging his Aunt.....

4) If everyone ends up dead and Sansa takes the Iron Throne, I'll literally puke.

5) Would anyone be upset if the eventual person to sit on the Iron Throne was Ser Davos?

6) If I had to guess I'd say one of two things happens at the end. One would be Jon dies in battle and a pregnant Dany takes the throne with Jon's son as the crown prince or Two, Dany dies in child birth having Jon's child in which case Jon takes the throne and raises their child.

1. I had the same question. I'm sure some of the lesser Lannister banners will answer/heed Jaime's call, but the majority will probably think about Cersei's wrath against their lands while they trudge North. Bronn will do whatever is best for Bronn. Maybe he'll be the castellan at Casterly Rock/Highgarden?

2. Thank GOODNESS the Winterfell Battle of the B!tches is done! It took up too much time and I would have liked a few lines directed at Baelish saying "Did you really think we would betray each other?" or something like that. I don't even care which sister would say it - Sansa or Arya would have been equally sweet.

3. I actually hope to see more Bran next year, even if we only see him go on his Excellent Adventures (where is his Ted btw?) And he did see NK destroy the Wall... remember the ravens flying past Tormund and Beric while they were atop the Wall? That was Bran. He saw it all. Well... presumably not Jon and Dany's family reunion. But he definitely saw the Wall crash.

4. Me too. The thought of it hurts my brain. Moving on.

5. No, but I don't think that is likely to happen, unless Ser Davos is literally the last person alive. It would be sweet if the last shot is him on the Iron Throne, looking straight into the camera and saying, "See... I told those children they should have listened to the man who lived to a ripe, old age."

6. I can see the show having a happier ending than that. Jon and Dany probably unite the realm and create a new dynasty of Ice and Fire. Tyrion might still be the Hand and be Lord of Casterly Rock and Guardian of the West or whatever. Sansa is the Lady of Winterfell and has all the power she ever wanted with Bran and Arya by her side, hopefully keeping her in check.

The books though... not so happy an ending.
I didn't think the ending in the books was written yet.

It isn't. I'm just saying don't expect a happy one. GRRM has said that ASOIAF will have a "bittersweet" ending.

As long as we're thinking the show will have a happier ending then I vote for Tormund & Brienne to make babies so the big monsters can conquer the world.....

Didn't Tormund and Beric get buried under ice at the wall? I don't think they made it out in time. Maybe Brienne will have to face Tormund when he's an Other.

I thought the same thing when I watched it. I think they feel with the Wall, but my cousin is adamant that they ran to the part of the Wall still standing, i.e. away from the ocean. I guess we will see in 2018.... or 2019.
