WM picks up their first recruit for the 2018 class: Zach Tsakounis, a 6'0" 160 lbs OF/LHP from Arlington, VA (St. John's College), announced his commitment on Twitter. According to Perfect Game he throws mid-80s currently.

Jack Ryan committed to the Tribe today. 6'1" 160 lbs RHP/IF from Briarcliff Manor, NY. Comments from Prep Baseball Report:
'Pitchers frame with signs of projection, loose arm-action from a high-3/4 slot, up to 83 mph with downhill depth. Changeup shows fastball handspeed, curveball has loose spin. Lot's to like from the mound early on. Above average arm from the infield.'
Perfect Game has his fastball now at 85mph.

Another Lake Braddock player commits to the Tribe: 6'0" 180lbs Catcher Matt Thomas. Prep Baseball Report had this to say about Thomas:
"2.11.17: Thomas is 6-0 with an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short leg kick stride on line, loads down and back, good rhythm. Good hips and good balance to swing. Short, level line drive swing with a quick bat and extension through the ball, exit velocity was 88. Showed good approach, working middle of the field, power potential. Behind the plate, clean quick exchange, throws from high three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, catcher velocity was 74 and pop times were 2.04-2.18. Sways well, good receiver with firm sticks and soft hands."
