Server Maintenance Complete - georgia_tech_swagger - 03-04-2017 03:59 PM
For the newbies, the servers were paid for with donation drives. The top two teams got to name half of the original server (the lower one). This is why the Database half is named "Sammy" (Rice) and the Nginx half is named "Pierre" (Memphis). The top (newest) server was named for the top two teams donating in that drive. So the database side is named "Willy" (Rice) and the Nginx side is named "Coltrane" (App State). The third place team got to name the switch, which is why it is "The Hard Way" (NIU). All other teams represented by fans who donated got their sticker on top of the new server. All the clutter on top of those stickers is power/ethernet cords, webcams for the server cam view, and a backup switch just in case.

I have offsite backup and the old server is there as a failover.

The cold air aisles are around 60F. The hot air aisles are around 90F+.
