We have had a lot of rain lately, so the trees have not been shedding so many leaves as before when it was dry around here...

clt enjoys the leaves, and is always sad to them leave.

I don't know anything about leaves, but I do wonder if bees have knees.

clt certainly plans to have his people add lime this fall when plugging the yard. But peat moss, is that a bridge too far?

Can never add too much lime. It's getting close to that time of year again. I freaking hate cleaning up leaves.

clt decided against the peat moss.

clt has wet leaves now after the storm last night. That is a different animal all together.

clt had the yard plugged today. Wet conditions for the worker men, but they pushed thru.

Luckily Irma did not take too many leaves away.

This is a great thread, I am not punny enough to know any leaf jokes, but leaves are starting to fall here at MU.

Also as a fun fact, Marshall has a cloned Beech tree on their campus. It was cloned from an original tree which was struck by lightning. It is commonly referred to as the 'Son of a Beech' tree.
