We would have more if we played as many weaksauce OOC schedules as you have over the years. I give a lot of props to Houston Football, you guys have done some serious giant killing as well. But your schedules haven't been as consistently as difficult as ours.
We had plenty of years with all P5 teams on our OOC slate. Down years have been 3.

It's the smack board, where I started this thread, I don't have to be classy. It's WWE no holds bar in here.
To be fair, ECU has Houston on attendance and overall support but for the way you guys act, you'd think you were one of the best mid-majors over the years. You're just a thorn in the side of SEC and ACC teams yet act like you're one of the best AAC teams. About 6-7 AAC teams make more of a mark nationally.

That's my point, like ECU over Houston, Houston has dominated FSU, doesn't make them more relevant historically.

1991 ECU ended up #9 (11-1) in the Country and beat NC State in the Peach Bowl. Great year. That said, ECU won a couple CUSA titles as well under Skip Holtz. Have made some nice Bowl Season runs as well. ECU is coming back..you will fear US! Go Pirates!

That season doesn't look any better than most any other season. It looks typical ECU. I'd argue 2008 and 2009 were better seasons.

You didn't look then. The 3 losses were by one point at #7 FSU, seven points at #6 Florida and five points at National Champion Miami. ECU should've beaten Miami but dropped a TD pass at the end of the game.
Defeated NC State, Missouri on the road and a good Southern Miss on the road

Yes I did look. Losses are losses. There weren't enough good wins or one grand enough to counterbalance those losses. That season was typical ECU historically, i.e. a pest to major conference teams. Had they won even one of those big games, I'd give it up to you but they lost all of them. A 9-2 season with a win over one of those Florida teams would have sufficed. They didn't even go to a bowl, hard to come by or not.
