My wife and I just finished watching this on Netflix. Fantastic show, but sadly no more :(

Indeed. Well produced, written and performed series. Plus, I can't get enough Keri Russel.

Blood Drive was a great over the top guilty pleasure if you don’t mind incredibly exaggerated bloodshed and grindhouse. One season on SyFy and done.

When did it air?

This past summer, Wednesday nights on SyFy. They might still be available on demand. It'sreally TV-MA in a way that makes Game of Thrones look like MLP: Friendship is Magic.

Lie To Me...3 seasons and then cancelled. Was a really good show in my opinion

I also recommend Firefly...Joss Whedon was the director. Fox stupidly cancelled it after one season. A follow up movie was made called "Serenity"...but fans were very upset at the shows cancellation.

Firefly is rather popular though with a cult following.

It's on my shortlist, everybody tells me I need to watch it. I feel like it's in the same situation as Halt and Catch Fire, where the eyes aren't there but the network recognizes the high quality product they have so they don't care as much about viewership, hoping emmy nods and wins will eventually turn the tide.

Sadly, I think they are wrapping up after one more season. At least they are going out on their terms

Hahaha nice. I'll check it out.

So good. I like the last season with all the My Name is Earl tie-ins. There's also some neat Easter Eggs, and Cloris Leachman (sp?) was an unstoppable force

If we're stretching back to the 90's I'll go ahead and put The Pretender on the list too.

But the best show on TV no one is watching is "Billions", hands down.

Best writing, best plots, best twists, best characters, best everything. The dialogue in that show is amazing.

"Suits" would be my second choice only because once Mike's secret was out there, there just isn't that much they can do that hasn't been done. But show has great dialogue/writing, too.

I've heard Billions from a lot of people out here, need to check it out. Can I watch it on Hulu with the Showtime free trial?

I don't know, but it is a free trial, so sign up look around and cancel if it doesn't have what you need. Likely they'll give you a few episodes of everything to get you hooked but you gotta pay to go deep. Terra from Sons of Anarchy is on it and she has an interesting part with some minor nudity. She's a lot better looking now, imo, than she was on Sons.

Yeah, Donna's the worst, Cameron's annoying, Gordon was the best, and Lee Pace is one of the greatest actors of our time.

If you like Lee Pace's acting, you need to see the movie Soldier's Girl. Pace is the female lead.

I forgot abojt the Americans. Its a very smart, complex plot. A little slow at times, we actually stopped watching after about 3 episodes of the latest season, but it is a good show overall.

The Last Ship on TNT has become one of my favs. The bad news is that this Sunday is the season finale.

RE: OT: Best show nobody is watching, pimp away - WWDog - 10-05-2017 10:00 PM

Better Call Saul - not a forgotten series but really good just like Breaking Bad

Orange is the New Black - last season stunk but the ones before that are good

Rome - one of the best series I have ever seen. A bit old but worth finding the DVDs to see it

The Americans - has been a staple for some time

Preacher - the first season was excellent like Coen brothers on steroids

Fargo - First season was the best, second down a little, third was magnificent. Pay close attention as each season has a connection via at least one character. First season with Billy Bob was a character that was made for him as he was closely related to the devil himself.

Homeland - again not unseen or unknown but always on the edge of your seat.

Deadwood - I wish they would have finished it. Great throughout. The scene with "Swergin" and Woo alone is worth it

Penny Dreadful. Very good with one of the hottest actresses on Earth.

04-rock I will find it, will watch it. Have not seen a performance of his where he didn't give it everything he had. "Pushing Daisies" is actually another show I recommend that next to nobody watched, which also starred Lee Pace, ran on ABC about 10 years ago, feat. Kristen Chenoweth.

I'd say the first 2 are definitely very popular, but both very good. OITNB season before last was great, but I don''t binge, just catch bits and pieces when my wife's binging.

Rome is AWESOME. I watched half a season once just because my roommate was watching and had the first season on dvd. Really need to go back and watch it all again, especially since I took 4 years of Latin.

Fargo-- waiting for 3rd season to hit Hulu. I actually really liked season 2. Kirsten Dunst digs down deep to her "Drop Dead Gorgeous" roots and nails that character.

Deadwood-- solid. My only thing is you can tell it was made before binging. It kind of drags at points. I fell out of it after Oliphant's sister-in-law/wife comes back. And what was with the same actor playing 2 different characters? That was weird.
