Season 2 of Reservation Dogs was just released on Hulu. Can’t wait to start watching.

Those are both good show.

I second both of those.

I just finished The Terminal List. Good show and right now I'm binging The Last Ship on Hulu. It is based on a book and originally aired on TNT for 5 seasons from 2014 to 2018.

For those of you that liked Longmire, check out Joe Pickett on Paramount Plus. Season 2 will hopefully be released before too long.

The Last Ship was really good BUT got very repetitive really quickly. The book was great.
Whoever mentioned The Bear--thank you! Great series.
I would recommend Succession on HBO. My gosh that family is dysfunctional.
If you have not watched Peaky, I highly recommend it. Probably the best TV next to Breaking Bad.

Although the series is a little dark anyway, this season is much darker than the others. If you haven't watched any of it, it is well worth a look. A lot of violence and foul language. Speaking of language, you will have to get accustomed to the accents as they can be very difficult to understand. You might want to turn on the closed captions till you get used to the way they talk. One of my favorite series.

Fantastic series. The finale was one of the best hours of tv. Looking forward to the movie.

Longmire.....

The Terminal List was good but very predictable. For sci-fi fans The Orville: New Horizons just finished up it's 3rd and possible final season on Hulu and it was by far the best season of the show. Star Trek: Lower Decks on Paramount Plus is a little raunchy, kinda filthy, and absolutely hilarious! The 3rd season of the Umbrella Academy on Netflix was also great.

Old school nostalgia...

Found 'Night Court' on Amazon.. Yea there's commercials but I forget how funny that show is/was.. Plus they're doing a reboot with ol' Bernadette from Big Bang playing Harry's daughter and John Laroquette will be coming back as Dan..

Loved me some Night Court. Harry and Markie left us way too soon!

I'm almost through season 2. Bull was pretty funny in the early episodes as was Selma.

Mac also passed away.

Never seen it. I remember NC from my youth. I was a kid when it was on and could never watch it because it was past my bed time. Then when I got older I got to watch some of it.

Three Thousand Years of Longing Rented this movie today and I found it "magical". Nothing in it that will make you blush, get angry, stomp your foot, no real violence, not embarrassing situations or anything like that. It is a really good escape from reality of everyday life of today. It is one of the best movies I have seen in quite some time. It bombed at the theaters but the critics loved it.

The English on Amazon Prime. First two episodes are good.

Tried watching Dark Winds on Prime, hut they teased me with only one free episode. It was good though. Wish I could see more.

Andor on Disney+.

I haven't seen the latest episode yet (11) but through 10 episodes, this is some of the best Star Wars Disney has ever made. Maybe even better than The Mandalorian, but I'll reserve that judgment until I've seen the full 12 episodes.

If you haven't watched it yet and want to start, here's some advice: Treat the first 6 episodes as two 2+ hour movies. Binge watch 1-3, then binge watch 4-6. The first couple episodes, especially, just don't stand alone all that well. It's a slow burn. Watch them together, and you'll come away satisfied rather than bored.

Episode 7 kind of stands on its own. It wraps up the events of Ep. 6 and sets up Ep. 8.

Then 8-10 work together as another "movie," this one, about 2 1/2 hours long. But man... what a payoff.

I assume 11 and 12 will also pair together as a new storyline, probably equivalent to a 90-minute movie.

One more note about this show: If you didn't like Rogue One because it wasn't "fun" and "didn't feel like Star Wars" then you probably won't like Andor. This isn't a fun, madcap adventure story. It's violent and at times brutal. Not a lot of jokes. No Jedi or Sith (so far), no light sabers, and very little if any use of The Force. There are a couple of droids, but none of them are really featured characters. (Even the "cute" droid introduced in the first episode is not a vital part of the story.)

It's a war story, set among regular, non-magical, mostly non-powerful people on some distant unimportant planet, caught up in the birth of a galactic Empire. And it's freaking outstanding.

Good recap. I'm not sure I enjoyed the 11th episode as much as episodes 6 and 10, but it could end better than the Mandalorian (S1, not so much S2). I wasn't a fan of the last two Star Wars shows (Boba Fett in particular was not good, Obi-Wan Kenobi had its moments). But I'm not a big Star Wars fan in general - I still haven't seen most of the movies.

My 2 favorite TV shows of 2022 have both been on Apple TV - Black Bird and Bad Sisters. Andor, The Offer and some of the HBO shows are probably right after that.
