Noone talking about Wofford hoops? - Hokie Mark - 12-21-2017 02:05 PM

Wofford upsets UNC - December 20, 2017
Wofford was 0-22 against ranked teams in its history. That changed on Wednesday night. Get to know the Terriers, who knocked off No. 5 and defending national champion North Carolina 79-75.

How big is this upset? What does it mean for UNC?

Not really. This is like Syracuse beating Clemson in football this year. Something for the fan of the lesser program to beat their meat about but meaningless in the ultimate goal when your program has greater ambitions.

I love when T-Shirt fanboy's of supposed superior programs constantly obsess over supposed inferior programs

I think it says UNC is a different team this year that doesn't have the superior inside players they normally do. Their bigs are young and they rely a lot more on 3's than they have in the past. IT was a good game by Wofford with a good game plan, but Heels will be ok by March.
