Nah he needs to move up to a CUSA level school first to not only prove he can do it in a tougher conference but to also be at a second school. Also the Compher and search firm exits reset the search. Word is Dooley deal was in opening stages. May still go with him or we may go after someone like the Loyola coach.

Looks like Lutz to WCU.

That is my favorite brand of chips.

With ECU being so patient on the hire I have been wondering if there is a dark horse candidate still in the tournament. The only one that I would think we would be looking at would be Duke assistant Jeff Capel. Has previous head coaching experience at VCU and Oklahoma with an elite 8 appearance. I'm just getting antsy with how long this is taking.

43 pages on ECU basketball. I feel like we have arrived.

Except I'm reading this thread at a football practice, so... still a FB school.

Shouldn't you be practicing instead of posting here? Coach Mo needs to get his team in check.

If I were playing we'd be 0-12. 04-cheers

Nah. You'd have that one win over UCONN to tell your future great grandchildren all about.

Congrats. I hope it’s not just to get blue balled by hiring Dooley.

Well both Lebow and his boss are gone so that's a good start

The name that keeps coming up since Dave Hart took over is Tennessee Associate HC Rob Lanier. I'd like to hear outside opinions of that if anyone cares to offer them.

Kind of ho-hum. I was hoping for someone splashier to really ignite the program.

Lanier led his Sienna team to the tournament in his first season and won 6 games in his 4th. No thanks.

We've finally hit bottom?

Haven't read the entire thread of course, but what about WKu's coach Stansbury? He's probably aiming for a better basketball school but if y'all made him a big offer, you never know. If ECU is serious about turning basketball around it could be a game changer.

Might as well hire him before he gets hit with an NCAA violation.

If I had to bet it's gonna be either Dooley or Moton at this point.
