NC State now has at least one P5 team scheduled every year through 2031. Home and home with West Virginia, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, BYU, Vanderbilt, plus four games against Notre Dame.

They also have a home and home with ECU, and a 2-for-1 with Louisiana Tech.

That's a big improvement over some recent schedules, for which they were rightly criticized.

What they haven't left room for are any OOC games against ACC opponents (like Duke or Virginia) they sometimes say they'd like to play more often than once every six years.

It takes 2 to tango, and NC State doesn't have a dance partner.

I can see doing a 2 for 1 with a school like Tulsa, SMU or Tulane...USF/UCF should be 1 for 1's. They are good enough they can actually beat you.

The Golden Brahman are an easy choice: more exposure in FLA, should be a victory, and they don't have an intimidating home atmosphere.

Expansion? No.

Exposure? Yes.
