WMU move to AAC? - Fthechips - 02-20-2018 02:59 PM

Just wanna know what you guys think of the AAC accepting in a couple teams from the MAC to establish a more northern/midwest presence. Teams like U Buffalo, Toledo, and especially Western Michigan are the schools I had in mind. What you guys think?

No, never. It would drag the conference down significantly.

There is not even one MAC program that will ever be worthy of an invitation to the American.

In fact, the mere asking of this question pisses me off.

I mean, hell, why don't we just invite the Cleveland Browns while we are at it ?

There's schools from CUSA and the MWC I'd want to poach first but Toledo and Buffalo wouldn't be the worst candidates.

03-puke

Definitely no Toledo. Too much delusion and agenda with that bunch.

The AAC is free to do whatever they want after UH and Cincy are gone.

The American will never take a MAC, Sun Belt or CUSA school UNLESS the American is trying to backfill after being raided.

Schools with a chance at American membership WITHOUT a raid happening first:

Dallas Baptist in baseball

VCU, Saint Louis & Dayton in basketball

Army & BYU in football

Select MWC all sport schools including Air Force.

PAC12 or bust.

Kick out USF and invite Dunk City. Instantly makes the conference better for BB.

Here's one huge reason:

MAC Attendance

With that attendance, USF ought to beg the CRAP to invite them. They'll be at home playing in front of absolutely nobody.
