I would think that with the recent school shooting, with the lack of checking up on a percieved problem that all LEOs are being cautious. Just my theory. Not a lawyer nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I will say this, if this truly was what it was perpetrated to be and the cops did nothing and a shooting occurred, they'd be slammed in the media. I think right now it's all knee jerk. I blame the kids cause they obviously haven't cracked a math book to know what that was. I still do that house for division as well. RE: Students in Louisiana thought the Square Root symbol looked like a gun: Police called - VA49er - 02-26-2018 04:16 PM Lord help them the next time a student dares try division. Students in Louisiana thought the Square Root symbol looked like a gun: Police called - ark30inf - 02-26-2018 04:42 PM I think they changed the article. It originally said that any student that talked about shooting or guns would be investigated by three bodies. Including home search by law enforcement and having a "threat assessment" done. For talking about a gun. Then they can go to Civics class and learn about the Bill of Rights and how they have freedom of speech and protection from unreasonable search and seizure.
