The rumor mill is working on a little something. Unverified sources saying that Compher is going to take some kind of deal and resign. I'm not saying that it's likely. I'm saying that it's hope....on a Wednesday. I choose hope.

I hate to say it but he's not going anywhere. One of our beat reporters said that he is traveling to Florida this weekend in what is related to the basketball coaching search. He wouldn't be conducting a search if he was being fired. Furthermore, if we were going to fire our AD, I think we would have done it well before now, just when our basketball coaching search is heating up with the season's coming to an end.

You don’t fire a guy six months after giving him an extension, however unwarranted that extension may have been. Personnel matters being discussed a probably related to the dean of the business school retiring.
