UNC at Duke is also on the ACC Network. I know the game is picked up across the state of North Carolina. I'm not sure how widely it's picked up on the ACC Network outside NC.

BTW, has there ever been an ACC team worse than Pitt is this year? Discuss.

I never thought I'd see a team demonstrably worse off than Brian Gregory's Jackets. I mean, they only ever took defense seriously. They literally only coached half the game worth a damn. And yet somehow ... someway ... Pitt has managed.

Really glad Bobinsquatch didn't hire Stallings, as he was sniffing around GT too at that time.

Frankly, with the roster Pitt had, if they had won one or two league games he'd be COY.

Let's at least give the guy a couple of recruiting classes before assigning him to the dustbin of failed coaches.

I dont think any of us thought that Stallings was a good hire. But I dont think any of us thought he would be this bad. Being this bad is more than rebuilding. Stallings is just simply a bad coach. The sooner Pitt can get rid of him the sooner they can get a real coach. He is the basketball equivalent to Greg (Gerg) Robinson.

He's gone.

Didn't basically the entire Pitt team transfer at the end of last season?

Yeah. Probably because they knew how bad Stallings is? If you can't keep your team together that's on you. Has he picked it up in recruiting?

Stallings ran them all off. And then didn't bring in any upgrades or adequate replacement material.

No. Recruiting is abysmal. He's completely lost the fan base. Attendance is lower than any other time since the 70s or perhaps even earlier. Some weekday ACC games had (unreported) less than 1K in attendance for a program that was averaging over 10K just 3 years ago, which is unheard of. The negativity is unreal. It is costing Pitt millions in just gate revenue and donations...and estimates are like $10-12 million this year... to the point where they can't afford to keep him even with 4 years left on his contract. He's done. Baring some unforeseen shocking reversal, watch for an announcement in the days following Pitt's loss in the ACCT.

All because of the ego of an athletic director who, while spending only one year at Pitt, ran off the winningest coach (by %) in Big East history while having no intention of seeing his brilliant plan through. Thank goodness we at least have a new AD.

We laughed at Pitt for forcing our Cuse Killer to leave (Dixon) and hiring a bozo.

So did the rest of the college basketball universe.

Pitt does what Pitt does: shoot its successful athletic programs in the the head. We perfected it with football.

Kevin Keats was the best coaching hire of the year. He molded a team from what was left of a team that won 4 games in conference last year to finish tied for the third best conference record. It is about time given the last three hires for that position.
