Pretty Solid evening for Wichita even without playing

OSU win puts them in a position to move to Q1 (75 or lower) with a win tonight over Kansas (they have already beat KU twice and KU is without their big man today)
Marquette Win moves them within striking distance of going to Q1 (50 or lower)

So between those and UCF moving back to below 75, WSU could add an additional SIX Q1 wins by Sunday (assuming Temple, Houston, Cincinnati victories which would definitely be tough) and end up with 10 Q1 wins and 18 Q1/Q2 wins ... That's a heck of a resume.

Yup. You should go from a 9 seed to an 8 seed.

Are you including Tulsa in that win total?

They should be able to get to under 75 as long as they make it to Saturday.

Pitt Fire Kevin Stallings. Would be a hell of an assistant at SMU.

Tulsa is already at 71 so yes.

VCU vs Dayton coming down to the wire.

Show case game for future conference teams?

Bama plays tomorrow at Noon. Finebaum show from the arena. Gonna try to find some cheap tickets and head down with a UCF National Championship sign

Middle Tennessee in a fight with southern miss about four mins to go.

Middle Tennessee one of a very few mid majors who could steal an at large bid.

MT loses by 3.

34 at large spots now.

They lost. So yeah, that's an interesting one.

MTSU lost. They ended the season on a two game losing streak, but they still have a good profile. I hope they make it because MTSU is my other alma mater.

I don't think MTSU gets in. Pretty weak resume

I'm not seeing it either. Best win is.. at Murray State?

Two straight losses to end the year, one and done in the C-USA tournament, ending with a loss to #205?

It's definitely a worse resume than when they got snubbed a few years ago.

RE: Non-AAC Basketball Post-Season Discussion - Bearcats#1 - 03-08-2018 10:18 PM

how is UNC with 9 losses ranked 12th?

that's fine but they have 9 losses. It's not like they are sitting at 27-3 with the #1SOS. Unless they win the ACC, the roll into the big dance with 10 losses. Im not seeing 12th ranked team in the nation there.

They are overrated.

Quality losses.

KU enjoys the same luxury.
