Former Scoring Leader Zeke Upshaw Had Cardiac Arrest - EvanJ - 03-25-2018 07:45 PM

Zeke Upshaw spent his senior season in 2013-2014 at Hofstra and led the CAA with 19.8 points per game, slightly above Devon Saddler's 19.7. While playing for Grand Rapids in the G League, he had cardiac arrest. There were reports that he died, luckily followed by reports stating that he didn't. Coincidentally, it happened while Grand Rapids was hosting the Long Island Nets, who play across Earle Ovington Boulevard from Hofstra.

Such a horrible story. Feel so bad for his family, current and former teammates and all of you guys that got to root for him while at Hofstra.
