NU plays their first CAA series this weekend at JMU.
NU bounced back from getting swept at Texas Tech with a 15-8 win at URI.
Starters for the series:
Tyler Brown starts Friday
Brian Christian on Saturday

NU wins the series vs the Dukes down in Harrisonburg.
NU won Friday 10-2. Ty Brown got the win (2-2) going 6 IP, 5 H, 2 ER & 6 K. Scott Holzwasser had 2 hits.

Saturday, NU lost 6-3. Brian Christian took the loss (1-5) 3 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB 2 K. Charlie McConnell went 3-5 w/2 2B's. Ryan Solomon hit a solo HR.

Sunday, NU beat the Dukes 8-1.
Sean Mellen picked up his 5th win (5-1) 5.2 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 3 K. Jake Farrell went 2-4 with a 2-run HR, 3 RBI.
NU visits UMass Tuesday in the Beanpot semis before hosting Elon in a 3-game series next weekend.
