Looks like not much more seating capacity added. Surprised plans weren't to get to 30k capacity. Still, a much needed improvement.

Thats just Phase 1. Phase 2 goal is to get to 30k

21,000 seats. Will still be squarely right in the middle of the conference pack attendance-wise during our "sellout" streak.

Besides that number, this is really really necessary. The current stadium is straight up falling apart. We needed something. Hopefully this gives us a new foundation to build our future on. We are still infants in the football world

I'm proud of the fact we did it with no student fee's or state funding. Can't wait till Phase 2 is done and we're rocking 30k+.

By the start of the 2019 season. All work will be done offseason, so there should be no affect on the schedule.

Glad to see ODU making improvements to their stadium. Very happy for you guys. Maybe now Harry Minium will stop screaming poverty and give up on his quest for realignment.

One thing I'm looking forward to is the sound. It looks like it's going to really hold sound even better now. Plus 10 ft closer on each sideline is going to really make it feel intimidating. I want the place to be a true home field advantage.

That would actually be pretty awesome. Sell premium boating spots for fans to party on their boats in the stadium at the game.

Yep unfortunately land comes at a premium for us esp with our situation, buried deep in the neighborhood 03-banghead.
