As draft day approaches, Marcus Davenport has gotten all sorts of attention from the media, but I like this segment on him the best.

Great story on the guy. I wont miss him being on the field for UTSA. He was nearly unstoppable.

Great piece. Thanks for posting. Marcus Davenport had 6 solo tackles against LA Tech this year. I'm glad to see him leave. :-)
UTSA is going to have a hard time replacing Davenport.

14th pick is not bad and he goes to a team that could easily be in the Super Bowl within the next couple of seasons....

Very excited to have him on our side. I think it’s a great fit and he’s going to learn from one of the best on and off the field in Cam Jordan.

Congrats on having your guy drafted so early. I am excited to see what he can do for my Saints. He definitely fills a position of need for us and the 1st rounder that we had to give up for him next year will probably be in the high 20s anyway.

Or they could easily be bad. A team lives and dies by qb play and at Breed age, every year is an unknown.
That said, he looked great last year, so it would be a surprise.to see him completely fall off a cliff unless he has an injury.

Lives and dies by QB play? Where were you last season? The Saints were top 5 in rushing offense last year.

Davenport seems like a good dude, but for 2 1st round picks plus others, he better kill like 6 QBs this season.

That #32 next year is basically a 2nd. I can think of one QB he's going to kill this year. Hint: He'll be pouting in a towel during the 4th quarter. Then there's that other one that'll have poo stains on his pants.
