USA triathlon helps financially start up a team and they are more than halfway to their goal of 40 NCAA schools sponsoring it. Just another Title IX option. I would, however, like to see football not count towards the scholarship count for men. It takes up far too much and sports like soccer, lacrosse, and hockey (among others) suffer. It is still scholarships. It's still university resources. And for most schools, it is still the biggest money drain. |
