Man that’s great news, I think that makes two 4* commitments for 2019 in the AAC, we need many more
4* and 5* recruits = AAC Power

That's like the 4th player we've landed this year with an offer from Tennessee.

In their heyday they used to thrive off of NC recruiting. I'm sure they would love to be able to come back and get NC's top recruits but Tenn isn't the power they once were. I am glad that we are seeing an uptick in recruiting, I really was expecting the AAC to help improve our recruiting and I think this proves it (credit to coaches and facility improvements as well). Now we just need to make sure to sign these guys.

Man, I REALLY hope Coach Mo can coach. He is simply recruiting at a different level than ECU is used to. If he goes 3-9 or 4-8 this year, I don't see how you can fire him... it would jeopardize this class. Hard spot to be in.

If we struggle again this year and aren't even competitive in losses like we were last year we have to fire him. We are in a much better league than we have been historically so regardless who was coaching we should see an uptick in recruiting. Every team has seen an uptick in their recruiting in this conference so it's really just keeping up with the Joneses. It's also early, we will see where our recruiting rankings will line up when the rest of the conference has all their signees.

While Mo gets some deserved credit for working hard on the recruiting trail he's had the benefit of selling this conference as well as the facility improvements that we are putting in place. Bottom line is you can't get carried away by recruiting and let that impact the decision on a guy that can't get the team to buy in and play competitive. That's what I need to see from him this year.
