Told ya'll. We need to move to a new network for a teir1 package to get out of groundhog day every preseason. UCF and one of Memphis, USF, Houston should be in the top 25 with the other two getting mentioned. With NBC or CBS promoting us as a power, dumbasses like this would have to show more discretion in an attempt to not look completely stupid.

Is he actually a voter this year in the AP poll?? If he is, then it is a travesty that he is not booted out. His ballot is not serious and was simply used for personal gain to expand his twitter brand and get more mentions/attention. That is not what the poll is meant for.

Yup. It's a valid concern if a voter openly discriminates to fit his agenda. Committee members are persuaded by these polls, particularly when it comes to ranking the "lowly G5" for the Access spot (an afterthought). If 2 teams finish the season undefeated, it's almost a guarantee the one who started the season ranked will finish ahead in the polls.

Brett "rejoined" the rigged system as his non-compete with ESPN just ended (and with it, ESPN payments), and joined The Stadium site and is now an AP Voter once more.
He ranked UF? Really? Outside their 3 game exhibition series (they play not one but TWO Div-AA teams and another home game vs Colorado St at 4 pm in mid Sept FL Heat/humidity), the pathetic SEC East.might help get them to 6-6...but Top 20 team?

Note: The Idaho game for UF was declared by the NCAA to count towards bowl eligibility, given the circumstances of when they scheduled the game, having it cancelled in 2012 (I think, due to lightening or something?), and them now being FCS. Either way, though, the schedule is pretty weak. I'm sure they'll be ranked higher than USF was a year ago with the same number of wins, but with the same complaints on lack of SOS.
