Well, I'll buy something other than Nike products...

Glad I've recently been buying more UA. Time to donate some Nike gear.

If I have to buy WALMART brand, I'll do that before I spend a dime on NIKE.

Awesome choice! Kaepernick is a true patriot and an inspiration to every American who believes in equality and freedom of speech.

Yea except if you are black and dont have a gun, you are more likely to be hit by lightening than shot by police

Do you understand marketing at all? The first handful of responses on this thread go against what you said.

Instead of Kaepn how about the gymnasts abused by Naser?

Looks to be a great ad campaign. It will drive a lot of attention especially since Kaepernick won the other day in an arbitration hearing so his lawsuit against the NFL will proceed.

Yep using that thought process (clearly no logic) so was Jane Fonda during the Vietnam War. 01-wingedeagle

Has Kapernick, or have any of the other kneelers, actually engaged in any productive activity to defuse the situation? I am sure that some of them must have, but I haven't seen any news to that effect. Walking the walk by actually trying to reduce tensions on both sides would seem to me to be far more useful than ramping up tensions.

Race baiters can't make money if tensions begin to decline. CK has a budding lawsuit he needs to nurture not to mention questionable endorsement deals for being an complete @$$

When has this clown gone into black areas and actually done something? Oh wait, he did wear a aCastro shirt when interviewing with the Dolphins. What an idiot.

Kaepernick appearing in a Nike commercial isn't news, it is an attempt turn politics into profit. Nothing more, nothing less. And ESPN has it as the lead news on the bottom crawl over and over. *eye roll*

Tacking totally against the idea of avoiding controversy is a bold choice here for Nike.

This will alienate many.

We live in a world where bad behavior is rewarded if you can play that victim card.
