It certainly cracks the door for a 1 loss Texas or Oklahoma.

You would think so. Makes you wonder if it's 11-1 Texas vs 11-1 Oklahoma in Big 12 title game- is that for a playoff spot?

But I do want to say as a fan that I liked the classy way Ohio State let this game finish in the final seconds! I wish we saw a bit more of that today.

When you have a chance to score and don't, that's not classy. That's giving up. I only saw the last half of the 4th quarter when it was 35-20 and Ohio St. looked sloppy and had given up.

My point was that when you have a minute to go and 2 time outs and a 29 point deficit there's no point to calling the two time outs just because. There's nothing wrong with conceding once the game is obviously over and it is courteous to the opposing team's fans and kind of a tip of the cap. If they had still been within 15 thn I would be inclined to agree with you.

I think more to your point, it wasn't a top 10 quality performance by the Buckeyes.

They didn't need to call the timeouts, but they still should have tried to score in those last 30 seconds.

They didn't need to call the timeouts, but they still should have tried to score in those last 30 seconds.

I'd tend to agree. Especially since they should remember a big thing last year was the fact they lost by 31 points. A bit different losing by 22 compared to 29.
