Big 12 with the highest win % where no team opened as a favorite except WV who was promptly moved to underdog as soon as Grier said he was sitting it out.
Beat ranked UGA and Mizzou.
Beat Vandy and Cal
Beat the spread vs Bama
Lost by two to a very good Wazzu team
Only loss with a crazy margin was WVU who even without Grier led after three and was far from 100%.
Not a bad bowl year.

However, I agree that the Big 12 had a good bowl year. A 6-6 bowl year for the SEC is a bad year where fans of the SEC are concerned.
But when the conferences are only separated by 2 games from the top finishers to the bottom ones that's parity. Everyone had at least 1 game that truly could have bounced either way, but the overall record is reflective of parity.

the Jan 1st games were indicative of that - Iowa beats Miss St by 5, Kentucky beats Penn State by 3, Ohio State beats Washington by 5.
B1G had two blowout wins over ACC teams, two blowout losses vs SEC, 2-2 in games decided by less than a TD, and one 11 win. So 3-2, plus 4 games that could have gone either way.

Had noticed how close the results were too. Not disastrous or fantastic finish for any conference although given match-ups could make arguments a few ways. Not what we have seen last few years though.

Or put another way each conference went .500 or was within one game of it.
