RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
I have a feeling Gregory is going to double cross Rick and warn Negan he's coming. That will lead to two episodes of Rick and company trying to get back to Alexandria without being followed but ultimately getting caught by Negan in the season finale where someone will meet Lucille. If that someone isn't Daryl, I do think it will be someone with shock value. Remember Negan beat a 16 year old Hilltop resident to death, to show them who he was. I don't think beating Abraham to death would show how brutal he is, really neither would Daryl.

I haven't read all of the comic books but enough to know a few things. They are making it seem like Abraham or Glen is going to be on the bad side of a bat. At first I didn't think it would be glen but if the show follows the Maggie comic book story line then it will most likely be Glen. This weeks show was setting up a few future turns and twists with a lot of hints dropped. Including Meggie's story line in the Comics. This week really was the first time Meggie took any leadership role or talked about as "a leader". I really can't see that developing with Glen still in the picture.
I know there is a difference but there was a point to show that both asked for half but also to say that Negan didn't get that much up front. In the comics Abraham dies before Glenn and with the Abe's revelation about Sasha I'm guessing they will still do that. Just not in the same way as the comics. Also with Abe and Eugene about to start patrols together hints at his death in the comics too.

I could totally see them having Eugune finally manning up and saving Abe but dying in the act. Then Abe has flashbacks of him saving him tied into flashbacks of the loss of his family and he does something rash and goes on a rampage and gets bit or something.

What an awesome episode! Father Gabriel has definitely "seen the light" and Rick continues to do what must be done. Wow.
In many ways, this episode gives us something to think about with regards to current events such as the war on terror, etc.

From the preview on talking dead, it wasn't. She put up a fight and cut up one of the guys before they subdued her. But they looked pretty outnumbered and she had to protect Maggie. I'd say Maggie insisting on going along put them in jeopardy way more than anything Carol did.

Did he? Or did he plot an unprovoked attack to kill a bunch of random people in their sleep for something they may do in the future? Sure, we have the benefit of knowing that Negan and his Saviors are terrible people, but Rick doesn't know that. This seems awfully similar to what the Governor did when he launched his attack on the prison. Not to mention this attack was terribly planned. Rick better be prepared to pay the price.

I kind of suspect that it's going to be Carol or Maggie that meets Lucille, or maybe that's too obvious, it would definitely have the shock value.
With all the carnage Negan's group must be really large, or they wouldn't have sufficient numbers to fight Rick's group. I don't think we'll see Negan until the season finale and someone's big date with Lucille.

Yup, saw that after I watched Talking Dead. I was like a half hour behind and played catch up on DVR. Yeah, Carol also went into that "woa is me I'm just a little woman" voice when she talked to Rick on the walkie. Trying to lower their guard around her. That dude probably won't make that mistake again.

That's what I'm thinking. This is just an outpost or something. That did not look like a perm place and they've severely underestimated the size.

It was just a "satellite" branch of the Saviors main community. Probably right about not seeing Negan until the finale. Glenn looking at all those pictures of Lucille's handy work was awesome. With all of the foreshadowing of Glenn getting the bat makes me think Kirkman is just trolling us and it will end up being someone else.

Exactly what I suspect as well. That little place had to just be a small outpost. I think we'll be shocked when we see how big Negan's compound is.

Yep. I was like his looks nothing like the compound in the comics. Halfway through the murder spree I realized they weren't in the right place. I thought the same thing about the foreshadowing. I have no idea who will meet Lucille but I'm beginning to doubt it will be Glenn.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
Is Abraham a dead man walking?
I thought I saw him get cut during the fight against the saviors. The show writers have used a lot of the comic lines to kill of characters, just not the same character the comic did.
So my theory:
We know Nicholas decided to take himself out in the show, but the comic series...
How He Died in the Comic: Nicholas lived quite a bit longer in the comics, and died during a battle between the more altruistic survivors and Negan’s Saviors. He was cut in the back with an infected knife, and later died from the wound.
Will the cut Abraham got during the fight be his end?

Oh, I agree with you. I think that the group would have been better off building up their defenses, sending out recon missions and putting a lot of thought into this beforehand.
All I'm saying is that Rick is a man of action and that he'll take such action as he deems necessary at the time to achieve his goals or protect Alexandria.
I think that it's safe to say that a price will be paid for these actions, too.
New prediction: both Abraham and Daryl bite it at the hands of Lucille; Abraham offer his life in return for Maggie's (he steps in for Glenn) and Daryl offers his for Carol's.
I would almost be willing to make a sig bet on a scenario like this playing out... almost LOL. We know that the writers are full of surprises.

Another good episode last night. Question though, didn't Maggie get stabbed/sliced in the stomach? Figured that'd be a bigger deal, with her being pregnant and all.

Pretty sure it just got her shirt, just barely missing her.
Anyone know why Carol has gotten a little soft?
