RE: OT: The Walking Dead
Tonight was a good episode. I expect the Woodbury vs. Prison feud to really take off.

Because they have 6 episodes left.

This one was pretty ho hum for sure but it's one of those story building ones. Kind of annoyed that that other group landed with the Gov. thought they would do well with Rick... or should I say Hershel and Daryl's group.

I'm getting tired of the prison/Woodbury story line. I'm assuming it will drag out for the rest of the season.

Andrea is an annoying character in my opinion. Hope she dies before the season is over, but I doubt she does.

Prison/Woodbury is the whole point. The show has evolved from "lets kill zombies" to "how humans would interact during a apocalypse."

I get that, it's just growing old to me.

I wouldn't mind seeing them start battling the elements as well. They're going to run out of food soon. They need to start growing crops or something soon. The entire show has taken place during warm weather. I want to see how they deal with cold weather instead of skipping over the entire winter like they did in between the seasons.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
I don't see how the prison could win this war if the governor comes to battle.

Governor has more men, more guns, more vehicles and now with the new insiders he has the lay of the prison.

Though the prison is low on ammunition (probably will have plenty for a fire fight)
{someone should check the back spare tire of the mini SUV, because wasn't Shane stashing ammo back there?} Also the prison is mostly overrun, realistically, don't see how they could win.

It would of been cool to see Andrea slash his throat, but like you guys said, too many episodes to drag this situation out.

She did bang Shane. I think every guy has known a chick that was attracted to dbags and then would complain when bad stuff happened.

It's be cool if they had a fight between the prison and the town brave heart style, no firearms just swords and axes type stuff.

Their best hope would be to lure the attackers into a trap inside the prison. Blow it up when they enter.

This would kill the governor and most of his men and it would make the group move onto a new location (obviously they're not staying at the prison long term). Wouldn't shock me if something like this went down.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
In the comics, I believe that once the Governor is defeated (killed) Rick and Michonne wind up leading the survivors at Woodberry. However, we need to keep in mind that the TV series differs greatly from the comic.

Here's a twist to consider: "Neegan" is a character in the comics that protects survivors for a price (whatever he wants, mainly food and such; what if Rick and the crew wind up fleeing the prison, then meet up with Neegan who in turns helps them take back the prison... and then he becomes the main bad guy. It's a thought.

As it stands now, I do not know how Rick's group can win unless they resort to gorilla warfare and surprise attacks at night, used to thin out the fighters at Woodberry. They must go on the offensive if they want to win OR Andrea must kill the governor. At this point, I would be willing to bet that the governor kills her first. Who knows? It's fun speculating, though.

I've hated Andrea's character since the beginning. That woman is an idiot, and she only serves to stir the pot a little bit. Last night's episode drove me crazy. Seriously, she needs to die.

I was thinking last night and came to the conclusion that I don't really like the way the governor is portrayed. He's not that Lovecraftian mad man like he was in the comics. This guy isn't even all that sadistic.

How is it more dangerous than regular warfare? Serious question, as I do not know how to wage war.

The misogyny among the fans is amazing. First everyone hated Lori. Now she's gone, everyone hates Andrea. If she dies, who's next: Carol, Maggie, Beth or Michonne? My money's on Carol.

Lori was fine until the love triangle got major air time
I've always hated Andrea.
Beth is growing on me. (HATED the suicide arc)
Michonne actor sucks
Maggie was fine last season but this season is a bit meh
Carol is BAMF

Guerrillas hold the upper hand because they're more familiar with the geography of an area. They also often have the luxury of having the enemy come to them. This means that they can set up snipers, boobie traps, ambushes, etc. In the world of the show it means that the complicated structure and obstacles of the prison and it's grounds gives them a real advantage if they can manipulate their resources in the right way.
