This, along with the thought of "what would I do in this situation" has me agreeing with you. If the world has fallen apart with zombies wanting to eat me and bad guys wanting to rob and kill me along with numerous other hurdles to overcome I would want to be in the most secure location possible. The prison would be it in this case.

I did not know that they are scheduled to film more in Woodberry; I wonder who will be living there? Or will the group just use it for supply runs?

I just assumed that they were part of the Governor's group.

I have enjoyed this show tremendously, great writing, storylines and characterizations.

I've been meaning to ask fans of the show here, heaven forbid, if something like this actually happened, and one of your loved ones or friends "turned", do you think you could take them out?

If it were Tallgrass or BondsJohns you would probably have people lining up to take the head shot. j/k

To answer your question, "yes" I could do it. At that point the thing you would be shooting is no longer human.

Season 2 was at the farm primarily. What is the large group you are talking about? Are you talking about the large herd of zombies that over ran the farm?

Imagine if that group they killed at the bar was part of Negan's Saviors. THey could have been part of some advance scout group.

Looks like they could have gotten any old abandoned country manufaturing warehouse and threw some fence around it and built a guard tower.

The Saviors could wind up absorbing the Governor his two henchmen; but that would need to take a while (like a season) to develop without the Governor's appearance on the show, in my own humble opinion.

I'm looking forward to them having to deal with The Hunters. LOL... that will be interesting. Who will get eaten? I predict that it will be Carol... if only so Daryl can be the one who gets revenge.

I looked at World War Z on Saturday. it was incredible. It really helped fill the void from TWD. I would highly recommend WWZ, it was much better than the reviews. I wished the zombies were slow instead of fast. Slow zombies give you a chance.

I saw it on Saturday as well. It was no where near as good a the book (in fact, it was much different) but it was surprisingly entertaining.

I was really surprised by the lack of gore in the film... yet it still did the job.

Like you, I need my zombies to be slow. If they turn quick and run fast... we're in trouble.

WWZ spoiler coming.

I thought it was cool that the zombies infect and move on instead of eating victims.
That would have been like playing tag.
I also thought the scene from when the zombies went over the wall until the escaped on the plane in Jerusalem was one if the coolest movie scenes ever.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
Once again, WWZ was a good movie but it in no way compares to the book. I'm not saying that it deserves a Pulitzer... because it is, after all, a book about a zombie war. However, it was a highly enjoyable read. I would put it on par with many of King's books like "Desperation" and "The Stand".

However, making the book into a movie that followed the story lines would have been nearly impossible. If they want to do that, they will need to have one of the cable channels do a mini-series or something over the summer months... when TWD is not on.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
There is talk of a WWZ trilogy. The ending gives a hint of at least a sequel.

As far as TWD is concerned, I'm angry that the directors didn't kill off the Governor at the end of season 3. If he is the storyline for more than 2 shows, I predict the next season will be the last. I mean, come on. The guy killed a group of soldiers, killed Merle, killed Milton who killed Andrea then killed his own people. Enough of this **** already. He's done enough damage. What next? He kills more people?? He's killed more humans than the zombies. The show has lost direction.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
I agree about the sequel. It was pretty obvious that there will be some type of follow on movie to WWZ. With Hollywood it is a very simple formula, $$$$$ count and little else. If enough tickets are sold they will follow on.

I am looking forward to the governor getting his. I like the idea TWD deviated significantly from the comics. Now we have no idea who or what is coming next.

Is the next step in The Walking Dead for them to move North, per the books?
