If you are a UofL fan and don’t appreciate the job DP has done thus far, there is something wrong with you.

There is no guarantee that Pitino would have had a better record to date. David is doing far better than most would have guessed the day Pitino was let go right as the season was starting.04-cheers

Postel names a 10 member search committee to name an AD, they want to name an permanent AD around March.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.courier...1055087001

Postel's stated preference is to complete the hiring process by the end of March. Interim athletic director Vince Tyra, whose temporary appointment was announced on Oct. 3, is considered a leading candidate to win the job on a full-time basis.

The search committee's membership is as follows:

Christine Herring, senior women's administrator/associate athletic director

Marvin Mitchell, senior associate AD/student services and diversity

Greg Postel, interim university president

Nitin Sahney, trustee and former President and CEO of Omnicare

John Schnatter, trustee and board chairman of Papa John's Pizza

Vickie Tencer, research and grants manager, University of Louisville School of Nursing

Vishnu Tirumala, student body president

Krista Wallace-Boaz, assistant dean, University of Louisville School of Music

Jeff Walz, head coach, U of L women's basketball

Elaine Wise, U of L faculty athletics representative and former chair of Division of Humanities

As a Louisville fan I don't know what to say. I was raised on basketball & formula and to me every game is important (esp. conference) because you need many quality ones to make the tourney. And I am totally loving what Coach Padgett is doing.

But I guess you are a bigger football guy???

Darn good game at Miami even though the outcome didn't work out. Walker will be a thorn in every ones side. Great player !
