Arroyo needs to be DL'ed until he's healthy.

Agree that Liriano is a risk and similar to Volquez with the walks. Not really interested. Plus I read that he's lost some velocity off his fastball.

With Bailey on the DL, Arroyo likely to go on the DL, and Volquez not up to snuff, that leaves Cueto, Wood and Leake as our only regular healthy starters. But Chad Reineke, who pitched well last year and this year so far in triple A, is coming up for a start. And Maloney and Lecure have started before. But this team still lacks a #1 starter.

I wish the Reds would look into acquiring Matt Kemp ($6.5M in '11 and arbitration next year). Stick him in LF. He is having one of his better seasons this year. I still like Beltran's nice comback season so far, plus he's a switchhitter.........but I don't think the Reds will take on his salary.
