Nick William's is not UCs second best player. He might have had a great game yesterday, but overall he is probably 4th or 5th best on the team. IMO, it goes Max, Hicks, Kirkland, then up in the air for Muhammad or Williams. Williams has shown up big time in 1 game this year, and that was Saturday.

Their class this year might turn out to be the best in years once they reach their senior year. UC has been rated highly over the last few years due to getting JC all-american's who never panned out. Last year it was Whaley and Williams (Whaley is already gone from the school). If they had him this year and playing to his potential they would be a top 10 team.

This years class has 1 player who is now a prop 48, and is staying in school (or says so at least). If he stays, their guard play over the next 3 or 4 years could be outstanding. They have a 6'9" player out of Miami who was rated very high on the recruiting lists to go with a guard who is up for the HS all american team. Roy Bright is a 3/4 (really a 3, but gotten time at the 4 this year) who has gotten a lot of minutes this year as a freshman. Give him 2 years and he will be a stud.

I know Big East basketball top to bottom is better this year than CUSA, but I can without a doubt tell you that UC will be in the hunt for the Big East crown next year.
