It's better to be lucky than good! Calvert threw his first interception and Probert missed his first field goal. That may have been a blessing in disguise as the Sycamores would have needed a touchdown and our defense wasn't stopping anyone. I don't know how our defense is so bad this year. We had most of our starters back from last season. Do we have a new coordinator or are we switching schemes?

I'm okay with Gill calling a timeout on 4th down for his defense. They were bad and likely tired at that point so it made sense to give them a short breather, have everyone on the same page and give the coaches an opportunity to get them ready for the play that would end the game. It didn't work that way but the thought process was sound in my opinion.

You think Liberty should move on from Gill? He is leading our team to the best record it had in a decade, beat a P5 school for the first time in history, and we're scoring more points than ever? Did I mention we're undefeated? This is EXACTLY what we've been wanting from Gill since he got here and while other seasons were complete disappointments, we finally are having the type of season we've been desperate for and you want to get rid of him? That's just crazy to me.
