A few more possibilities:

- Nebraska's newish basketball arena can support ice, and there is already a suitable new practice rink on campus. The Huskers could be competitive very quickly, and there is lots of money in that athletic dept.

- Texas Tech has an ice-capable 8,000 seat arena on its campus (but owned by the City of Lubbock.
