As an aside, is anyone watching The Orville on Fox? That show is not at all what I expected. I went in thinking it would be a "Police Squad" type spoof of Star Trek that would be cute for an episode or two. Instead, it's like Star Trek with better jokes. I'm a fan and would highly recommend giving it a watch if you haven't.

I'd give episode 4 for a somewhat disappointing 7.2 while I give episode 5 an improved 7.5 (the end mirror scene was very interesting and I liked Mudd)

I'm waiting for that 'breakthrough' episode I can give an 8+ to...maybe it's tonight?

Didn't quite get there for me. Seems like we're stuck in the weird spot of advancing the story and trying to fill in the character background.
