It's because alumni live far too far away from campus to ever attend games.

Location is most unfortunate. Changing the President is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I'm not talking about attending games. I get all that. I'm talking about alumni giving enough of a crap to make noise when things are going wrong. Historically, Idaho has had very active and generous alumni, and that's still true apart from athletics.
