I would think executive privilege would cover such a meeting.

If I were Trump I would say I would gladly let the interpreter answer questions about anything said in the meeting immediately after the dems subpoena Obama and ask him under oath and in a public session what he meant about having "more flexibility" after his last election when talking to Medledev.
