Who's likely to make a serious challenge to us first? A country with an economy the size of Texas, or one with an economy bigger than ours and Russia's combined?

Which culture more closely matches ours, Russia's or China's?

The Texas economy is actually very large. If we were a country, Texas would have something like the 9th largest economy in the world.

The US still has the largest economy but China is trying to catch up. The trade war should knock them back quite a bit. Russia is still a good distance back, so I see the logic. But, both China and Russia cover large areas on land, and both have very large amounts of natural resources, meaning they have a lot of potential for growth. The US must be very strategic in how we handle this situation.
