Opinion has nothing to do with it. If academics were the end all be all using your example the P12 would have added Rice when Texas backed out.

Did they add anyone once Texas backed out? No.

Not trying to be snarky but your opinion is just that an opinion. My "opinion" is based on the facts. Assuming Ok and Ok State tried to get in (none of us were in room) what basis other than your opinion do you have that less than stellar academics kept them out?
