This thread is much too long to read all of it.

But just wanted to comment that there's no such thing as a grim reaper.

We all will die. We may contribute to the shortness of it, or it could be of no fault of our own if we die earlier than "expected".

The bigger issue is because we all will die, what does it mean in terms of how we live today? And also, does how we live today need to take into consideration how we may or may not continue to exist after we "die" to this life?

If this is off topic to the thread, I apologize. But reality is that death is just a part of life, and it's always frustrating to have people die whom we knew, or liked or felt inspired by. The greater sadness to me personally is all the people who die who are good people and we don't know anything about them, and will never have known them. But others do/did.

It would be great if no one died--but ONLY if this life held the hope of always being able to enjoy living in this life as a result of not dying. But, as long as the human body ages, and disease and suffering continue as part of the possibility of continuing to live, and with people who hate others because of what they believe (or don't) that won't be the case.
